Where I Saw God Today Jan. 1

by | Jan 2, 2012 | God, God's blessings

This is the first of many posts sharing in 2012 where I saw God in my days.

Today I saw God in my friend James and in his message at Mission of Hope’s Worship Service. James is an example of a changed life through Christ. Today was his last day at the Mission, as he is going back home to Arkansas today.

He said something in his message that spoke to me. He said, “We are like God’s little salt shakers, shaking salt wherever we go.” He said this on the idea of how the Bible talks about us as believers being “salt of the earth.” I love that analogy, and it’s one I’ll remember for a very long time!

I’m thankful God crossed my life with James’ life. He’s a special brother in Christ!

Do you have a word for the year?

We held our Coffee and Calling event on Saturday where we learned and embraced the concept of choosing a word for 2025. Many women left with a word in their hearts and with hope in their souls.

They wrote their words down on a card, and that card is now sitting on my desk. I'll be praying for them and their words all year long.

Do you have a word for 2025?

If so, share it below, and I'll pray for you and your word throughout the year, too.

I can't wait to see what God will do in and through these words!

(And if you'd like to attend an online version of this Coffee and Calling event, let me know that in the comments, too.)

Happy 2025!
