Spring Break Day 8

Today was another special day with Ali and Zach on our spring break.

We woke up in our hotel room this morning feeling somewhat rested.  I slept better last night than I did the night before.  I could tell, as soon as my feet hit the floor, that we did lots of walking yesterday!

We had a great breakfast at our hotel, got ourselves ready, and packed our things back in the Envoy. (By the way, we got our Envoy back earlier this week and our mechanic seemed to fix the problem! Thank you God!)  Our next destination was to see my sister-in-law, Teresa, her husband, Scott and son, Austin.  We spent a few hours with them, enjoying their company.  Scott and Teresa arrived home from Cancun yesterday afternoon.  How wonderful their trip sounded!  I sure with they lived closer to us!  They made us a great lunch, and all to soon, we needed to be on our way again.

Our drive back home was a little less active than our drive there…Ali slept most of the way, Zach tried to in between snapping pictures of things here and there, and I tried to vary our music selections as radio stations faded in and out as we traveled. 🙂 

Of course, we stopped at a mall on the way home.  🙂  But seeing our driveway tonight as we pulled in, was a beautiful sight.  It was nice to be welcomed home by my Sweetheart as we were greeted at the door. 🙂

It certainly was a great trip!!  We continue to laugh and smile as we re-live some of the fun memories from it!
