Today was a much easier day for us with only a little over 40 miles from camp to camp.
We were on the road by 7am. After stopping at Casey’s for coffee, we received many comments from fellow riders of me holding my coffee as we were peddling down the road. I needed that cup of joe this morning, but I’m sure I was quite a sight!
Stopped in some great towns today. So many people sitting in their front yards waving to us as we peddled by. Felt almost as if we were in a parade. 🙂
Beautiful scenery. Lots and lots of people. Unbelievable amount of fun!
This is unlike anything I’ve ever done in my life. This also may be the most challenging thing I’ve ever done. We’re both sore, tired and a little weary. But we’re having the time of our lives!
We’re in our tent already, calling it a day. Ear plugs will be going in soon. Lots of snoring going on around us.
65 miles tomorrow. Mid-70s for highs. Looking forward to a great day!
Goodnight from Mason City!
Julie
