I wrote in the previous post that we have had many Christmas celebrations! The evening of the 23rd we had Christmas with my brothers and their families here at our home. Christmas Eve we celebrated Christmas with friends Tina, Mike and their girls, and our friend Karen here at our home. Christmas Day we stayed home and had a relaxing, joy-filled day here. Today we had Christmas with Bill’s extended family. It’s been such a memorable Christmas for me, and I think some new traditions were started…like having Tina, Mike, the girls and Karen over on Christmas Eve, and our immediate family staying home on Christmas Day.
It was fun watching the kids open their presents on Christmas morning. On Christmas Eve day, they get to open one of their presents from us, but the rest…they have to wait until Christmas morning. I enjoy watching them so much get so excited about their gifts and also about the gifts they’ve given. Below are some pictures of before, during and after opening. These make me smile!
