There's a group of special women out there who, for one reason or another, show up to church alone. At a former church, an entire row was filled with us women who came without spouses or families, and we created quite a bond. We knew we needed it--and each other. I get it--it's not so easy to do somedays, walking in alone, sitting by oneself, but every time, God meets me there. If you went to church by yourself or know someone who did today, I see you. My good friends since 5th grade, Karen and Sheila, joined me on the podcast this week. When I asked them what suggestions they had for someone who's struggling with negative self-talk or degrading thoughts, Sheila shared her wisdom in saying to look for the positive.
