Love Note To My Lefe’s – July 2015

Excuse me, but how in the world is July over? How can it be three days into August already?

Below is my monthly love note to the amazing three who are my family:

It seems as if I wrote my June note to you not that long ago! The month of July sped by us quickly. The Fourth of July, finishing my job, biking like crazy, RAGBRAI, the Lefebure Reunion, Friday nights at the races, the National Balloon Classic, and just hanging out at home together… goodness we had fun together last month!

It’s been a great summer so far, and I look forward to making even more great memories with you this month!

I thank each of you for how you bless me. You make my “job” as your wife and mom extra-special. It’s a joy for me to walk through this life with you. God truly gifted me with each of you, and I thank Him for you each day.

Alissa, as you began your new job in July, you’ve again excelled at something brand new. Your friendly, professional, and outgoing personality is taking you far. Great job, Honey! You make me proud. Keep up the great work! It’s been fun hanging out with you often, doing a variety of different things. I always look forward to spending time with you! May God continue to bless you, guide you, equip you and provide for everything you need. Keep walking closely to Him. He’ll continue to show you the way. He loves you so much, and so do I! Have a great month of August! I love you!!

Zach, it’s been enjoyable to spend lots of time with you at home this summer. I cherish these times together, as I know they won’t last forever. As you begin college this month, it’ll be a time of transition for us all, even with you living at home. But I believe it’ll be a great transition. You continue to make great choices, and I appreciate how responsible you are. Keep doing the same! I am so proud of you. Keep spending time with God, talking with Him, and seeking Him. He’ll continue to guide you as you walk forward with Him. God and I love you so much! May your August be awesome!!

Bill, it’s been a blast tandem biking with you this summer, especially during RAGBRAI. Thank you for all you did to make that trip enjoyable, and thank you for putting up with my grumpy moments. We’ve made many memories on that tandem, and I look forward to many more. I love you so very much. I pray God blesses you, heals you, and fills you with great joy for who you are in Him. I’m blessed to be your wife, Billy L!

As we are already three days into August, my prayer is for God to protect us in every way this month. May He continue to draw us as a family to Him, and may we daily put Him first in our lives. Again, I look forward to a great month together!
