To the wonderful three God has blessed me with as my family…
I am so thankful for you this day (and every other day for that matter)!
August 31, 2014. How can it be? Where has August gone? Where has our summer gone?
It’s been a beautiful summer, hasn’t it??!! I’m grateful I was able to spend so much of it with each of you. You made it great! Thank you.
August was a full month for us. I guess I don’t need to tell you that, do I??
Bill, I thank you for the amazing husband and father you are. Celebrating our 22nd anniversary this month was a true testimony of what God can do when two people put Him in the center of their marriage. I’m thankful we began doing that in year seven! You bless me every day, and I appreciate how you allow me to be me. Thank you for your encouragement, your love, your support and all you do to fill my life with joy. I love you, my love of a lifetime!
Alissa, I am thrilled for you! God has guided you to your next steps in your journey. It does my heart good to see you excited about it, and a smile on your face when you talk of your future. You’re going to make a great paramedic! I’m proud of you for so many reasons. For being patient as you’ve waited, searched, ruled out possibilities in your life. How you’ve prayed for God’s will. For managing your money well, and for being responsible. For balancing so many things so beautifully… school, living on your own, work, family, friends, a new apartment, bills, etc. There are 30-year-olds who aren’t doing what you’re doing so well! Great job, Sweetheart! The discipline you’re learning now will pay off greatly the rest of your life. Keep doing what you’re doing… making great choices, putting God first, living out your beautiful life. I love you so very much!
Zach, you’ve began your senior year victoriously! I can’t even believe you’re a senior! What an exciting year you have ahead of you! Your senior photo session was something I will remember for years to come. I watched you make those four hours awesome. But you do that with most everything anyway. Those photos will be incredible because of you. I can’t wait to see them, and I know you can’t either. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of that special day. I am proud of you for who you are, for what you believe in, for always standing up for what is right, and for being a leader to so many in your life. Thank you for continuing to make family a priority, and for always making time for your mom. I don’t intend to miss one single thing of your life this year. I know you will, but as your mom I still need to say, make the most this year by living well and doing good. You have a bright future ahead of you! I love you so very much!
As we look to September, I imagine it’ll be just as full as every other month has been. May we continue to keep our eyes on Jesus, and continue to share His love with each other and with those around us.
Thank you for the great honor it is to be your mom and your wife!
With deepest love and gratitude,
Mom & Julie
Nice to catch up on your family’s doings. Blessings on your September. I’m another one who doesn’t know where August went! (How fast the year is going by. Let’s live it to the fullest with our loved ones!)
Absolutely, Betsy! Let’s help each other do that in the ways we can! Blessings on your September as well! Treasure each moment with your family. Hugs!
Beatiful!
Thank you, Sheila!
