147. Living in the Right Now Moment with Heather Jeffery

by | May 28, 2024 | Podcast

You are in for a blessing today. In the last episode of each month I invite on the podcast someone who is living as a Right-Now Woman (from my book Right Now Matters), who is embracing life with God while staying present in the everyday moments of life. My friend and fellow writer, Heather Jeffery, joins me in today’s episode. We met online a couple weeks ago to converse about many things including ministry, following God, divorce, and even butterflies!

I met Heather through a common writing circle, and her zest to live life in the moment is refreshing and contagious. She’s a Christian writer and certified mental health coach, and is passionate about empowering women with Biblical truth as they link arms to seek clarity specializing in emotional and spiritual abuse as well as healing through divorce. I love how Heather believes our stories have purpose and are meant to be shared to encourage others just as we are encouraged by those in the Bible. I believe Heather will encourage and inspire you, wherever you are in life today.

Living in the Right Now Moment with Heather Jeffery

Four parts of our conversation stand out to me:

  1. How Heather partnered with God and sought Him through her heart-wrenching season in her marriage and through her divorce.
  2. Heather invites us to seek God first, not just in marriage or divorce, but in all things. He is our answer!
  3. Living in the moment keeps us alert and awake for what God has for us right now. We won’t fear the future when we’re staying present now.
  4. I will never look at butterflies the same again after hearing her butterfly story.

Heather Jeffery is a wealth of wisdom and inspiration, wouldn’t you agree?

What words of hers encouraged you the most today? I could have talked to her all day long! I appreciate how she is vulnerable in sharing her story to help other women navigate theirs. Heather is truly living as a Right-Now Woman!

I invite you to connect with Heather and access her free resource we talked about in the snow notes below. You’ll be so glad you did! Also follow her on Instagram to be encouraged and inspired often.

If you found encouragement and hope in this episode, would you also please consider leaving a rating or review from wherever you’re listening today? This will help others find this encouragement too. Subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode.

I’ll use Heather’s words to close out this episode, “Let’s keep our eyes open to see the little messages God is sending us.” I appreciate her words. When we live in the right now moment, we won’t miss God nor His messages, but we will be encouraged and strengthened through them. I’m so glad you’re here today, friend. I’m praying for you today. God bless you!
