This week’s word:
{WRITER}
I remember the day in January 2014 that I enrolled in Compel Training. For the first time, I considered myself a writer.
Really? Me? A writer?
Those two words were never put together in a sentence before, nor ever in my mind ever before.
But I was investing in my writing, and it felt great.
I had been writing a blog for six years already. And I loved it.
I saw how God moved me through my writing.
I saw how He taught me through my writing.
And I saw how He began to touch others through the words He gave me in my writing.
Now, I still may not consider this girl a full-fledged writer. But I will keep on writing, as it has become a passion for me. I’m learning. I’m growing. I’m finding community. I’m finding encouragement. All through my writing.
My dream? I’d love to write a book someday. And I appreciate those who have suggested and encouraged me to do so. But taking this writing thing step by step is a journey. It’s all about this incredible journey as a writer. And I love every minute of it!
