Continuing to get caught up with my Experiencing Summer 2013 posts, I am thankful for such a fun and blessed summer we’ve experienced so far.
Some of the most wonderful relaxing times have been on our back deck and in our own back yard.
My aunt Wendy was in the area for a class reunion and I’m thankful she was able to meet with us for lunch after church on Sunday, July 14. My brother Pat and his family joined us too. Alissa was gone that weekend, and Bill needed to get some rest after a full night of work.
Thursday, July 18 I was blessed to be able to take two of my nephews, Patrick & Bennett, out for their birthdays. We had dinner at Pizza Ranch, went miniature golfing, and finished up at Coldstone for ice cream. It was a hot evening on the golf course, and the ice cream afterwards hit the spot! We laughed and laughed, and had a wonderful time together!
Bennett’s 12th birthday party was at their home on the 20th. How can he be 12 already??? Cash, a boogie board and brother Pat falling asleep on the couch. Good times!
