Today is Day 5…Being Thankful this month!
God has blessed me with some wonderful friends! My friend Jeanie is one of them! I am thankful for her today! Jeanie is celebrating her birthday today, so I thought it would be the perfect day to celebrate her and share how I’m thankful for her!
God bonded our lives together almost 18 years ago through our Mary Kay businesses. She was my mentor and immediately became my friend. We have grown in God together, as He has seemed to take us through similar circumstances in our lives. We were pregnant with our daughters at the same time. We were driving pink Cadillacs at the same time. We had sick parents at the same time, at the same hospital. We lost parents to death a few days apart. We buried our parents a few days apart. And we grieved their deaths together. We are BSF leaders together. We still are Sales Directors together in Mary Kay, and now we also work together at Mission of Hope.
God also seems to teach us similar lessons at the same time. I find all of this nothing but amazing!
