A Joyous Easter

Yesterday was a beautiful Easter Sunday! Christ is risen!

We had a wonderful Worship Service at Mission of Hope yesterday morning. Pastor Paula from Living Waters Kingdom Church gave a wonderful and life-changing message. We see God drawing more and more of the people He loves and wants to reach to our Worship Services each week. Some may have never been in a “church” before. Some may not know how to “act” in “church.” It’s ok. We love them anyway, and encourage them to listen to the message and help them understand just how much God loves them. God was at work yesterday during our Easter Sunday Service!

We met my brothers Pat and Steve and their families at a local restaurant at 12:30. My uncle Eugene also joined us. It was wonderful to celebrate Easter in this way together. We had a delicious meal, great conversation, and a very nice time. It was great to see my uncle again! I love my family! 🙂

We then went to see Bill’s side of the family at this brother, Mike’s home. It was a little chilly outside, but I personally had so much fun hanging out in their garage on a sofa! At one point I looked around, and it was just my children, some of my nieces and nephews and me out there! We had so much fun! I cherished listening to them, hearing about their lives, and learning more about them as young adults. We laughed, laughed and laughed! God has placed in my life some amazing kids (and I get to be related to them)!

I love my family, and Bill’s family! I am so blessed to have these wonderful people in my life! Easter is such a special day, celebrating our Lord’s resurrection, and it was even more special spending it with our family. Thank you, God, for such a gift!
