Today I am so thankful for our home. After a very trying day today, nothing sounded better than walking through my door and collapsing in our comfy recliner. (Our recliner was Dad’s, by the way…that’s one very big reason why I like it so much.)
And when I did walk in the door after voting tonight and after my LONG day at 7:20 p.m., I walked into a house that was clean, organized and looking spotless! It almost took my breath away! 🙂 I have such a wonderful husband and daughter who did the work so I could relax in our recliner when I got home.
Our home is cozy, peaceful and I love it. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s home. It makes me feel safe and secure. We live “out in the country” and I love that too. I can’t imagine any place else I would want to live at this point in my life.
I thank God for our home tonight, and I’m grateful for all the things He has provided for us to enjoy in it!
