Love Note To My Lefes – June 2016

My monthly note to my three favorites… Bill, Alissa & Zach:

Here we are into July already. The months fly by. But as I look over the pics of all we did and all we shared in June, I smile. And I am grateful. Do we really understand how very blessed we are?? To be able to spend the time together that we do? To be able to laugh and smile and laugh together some more? To be able to share priceless moments, and enjoy every minute? God has truly blessed us! And as your wife and momma, I feel I’m the one who has received the greatest of His blessings… you!

Bill, we are certainly having a ball on our tandem! Biking in Kansas in June was a joy (hard work, but a joy!), and it challenged us in ways I didn’t expect. But we did it. Together. And that’s what we’ve done for almost 24 years. Together. Thank you for all you do for me and for the kids. Thank you for pushing me to be my best, yet letting me be who I am. I look forward to sharing another RAGBRAI experience with you. I love you, appreciate you, respect you, and am proud of you for who you are. You truly are my love of a lifetime!

Alissa, we spent lots of time together in June, and I loved it! You still light up any room you’re in, even when you come back home to visit. Your smile is contagious, and your wit makes me laugh. I love you so very much, Lissy Lou! God created you beautiful, inside and out, and I couldn’t be more proud to be your momma. God wants only His best for you… keep seeking Him, talking to Him, reading His Word, and living for Him daily. I look at all the ways He’s blessed you, and I am so grateful. I know you are too. I look forward to creating many more memories with you this month!

Zach, you balance work and school and your social life so well! You continually do well in all you do, because you put 100% effort into it. I’m so very proud of you! God created someone incredibly special when we created you. Keep up the great work, and continue making great choices. You fill our home with laughter and fun. Thank you for being who you are! God continues to walk out His plan for your life with you, step by step. Keep following His lead, keep talking to Him, and reading His Word. He’ll never steer you wrong. I love you so much, Buddy! Looking forward to more great times with you in July!

And for the other special people pictured in the above photo… Morgan, Kenzie, Zach M., and Alec, I am thankful you are in our lives. More thankful than I let you know. You are special people to us all, and I thank God for you. It’s always a joy sharing great moments of life, laughter, and all sorts of fun with you! I love you, too!

Bill, Alissa & Zach, I continue to pray for us as a family, and for you individually. I pray God draws us close to Him, and may we continue to keep Him in the center. I pray we always put Him first in our lives, and may we show His love to others around us. Always. I also pray for His protection, His mercy, His presence, and His guidance in all we do. May we each listen to that still small voice, His voice, and follow His will for our lives. There’s joy in the center of His will.

May we live each day to the fullest, loving each other, and blessing others as we do.
