Three Thoughts To Close Down This Day

by | Apr 8, 2014 | Encouragement

Three thoughts as I close down this day…

–May we be reminded of and thankful for the blessings of today.

–We will never have the opportunity to live this day again.

–May we live our lives tomorrow with great joy and expectancy, and may we each make another’s life a little better, brighter, or bolder.

Blessings to you this night, friend!

Julie

For the longest time, I thought God was waiting for me to have it all together before He could use me. But then I realized… He’s never asked for my perfection—just my obedience. If He can use the broken, the unsure, and the unqualified in the Bible, He can use me (and you) too.

If you’ve ever felt ‘not ready enough’ for what God is calling you to, this is your reminder: He equips those He calls. 💛

Have you ever struggled with this? Let’s talk in the comments!

As the day winds down, no matter how the day played out, we who choose to live abundant lives understand it matters how we end the day.

Ending it praising, thanking, and trusting God encourages our hearts, blesses Him, and sets the tone for tomorrow.

Even on the hardest days, choosing to praise, thank, and trust God shifts our focus from what went wrong to who He is. An abundant life isn’t about perfect days—it’s about a heart anchored in Him.

Instead of striving and overthinking, let’s rest in God’s care today, grow in His timing, and bloom right where He’s planted us.

“Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin… Yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” — Luke 12:27 NIV

What’s one way you’re trusting God’s timing in this season? Let’s chat in the comments! ⬇️
