June 7, 8 & 9
What a fun weekend it has been!
Friday night Ali, Bill and I went to the races to cheer on our friend Brian. This was our second time out to the track in three weeks. Brian raced well, and was in the lead most of the race…but finished second. In the pits afterwards, Brian asked if we “wanted to sit in the racecar?” I couldn’t pass up the opportunity, and neither could Ali! I had never sat in one before…I was pretty excited! Renae, Brian’s wife, took some fun pictures of us!

Yesterday morning Ali ran her first official 5K…Run the Flood. She ran it in less than 30 minutes! I am so proud of her! It was a beautiful morning.
I dropped off Ali at home, picked up Zach and we were off again to cheer on “niece” Olivia and niece Angie play softball. They play on different teams, but were at the same tournament. It was a beatiful day for softball, and we got to hang out with family and friends!

We finished the day at Becca’s grad party. She’s got a bright future ahead of her!
This morning we experienced a wonderful church service at Mission of Hope. Came home and have enjoyed hanging out here ever since! It’s been a wonderful weekend! Looking ahead to many more this summer! 🙂
