It’s been quite a week for our family. This week alone we’ve experienced together some wonderful memories, some trying moments, some nervous and scary times, great joys, rewards from hard work, and to finish it off today, spending the day together celebrating the love of our Savior on this Easter Sunday.
Each thing we experienced this week I am considering a blessing from God. I know there are some people out there who would say that these things I’m referring to…that God really had nothing to do with them. But in my years of studying the Bible, I have learned and know that God is in control of and cares about every detail of my life…which is something I’m very thankful for.
I had my biopsy on Thursday…I will soon find out what’s going on with my thyroid.
Bill brought home flowers for me on Thursday, which meant so very much to me.
My brothers all checked on me, which I loved and appreciated.
Zach turned 13 last Saturday, and celebrating him was so much fun!
Bill was offered a new job in a different department at work this week, where he will be able to put his college degree to work! His work ethic is amazing…I’m so happy for and proud of him!
The weather was beautiful this week in the 70’s and 80’s. My ideal temperatures! The grass turned green, almost overnight, and it feels officially like spring!
I have a loving husband who stood by me this week through ALL of my varying emotions. He’s an amazing man, father and husband!
Bill took me out to dinner Friday night. We ended the evening having dessert with my brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Stacie, and were surprised to have one of my friends from Mission of Hope wait on us at the restaurant. It was so good to see her and to know she’s working and making a difference for her and her husband.
I was able to spend some much needed time with Ali yesterday morning. She and I enjoyed each other’s company. It was so fun to see her smile so much!
